Ingredients

  • All purpose flour (maida) – 250 grams
  • Butter – 50 grams
  • Curd – 100 grams
  • Sugar – 200 – 250 grams
  • Water – for syrup
  • Cooking soda – a pinch
  • Baking powder – 1/4th tbsp
  • Salt – a pinch

how to make easy badusha sweet

  1. Take a bowl add maida, salt, cooking soda & baking powder and mix nicely.
  2. Now add melted butter / dalda/ ghee and mix well & keep it aside for 15 min.
  3. Now add curd and mix like a soft dough.
  4. Now divide the dough into small round balls.
  5. Now take one ball and press gently with your palm and make a hole in the middle.
  6. Keep oil for deep frying.
  7. Heat a kadai add sugar & water and boil till you get one string consistency syrup.
  8. After oil got heated (when you drop the sweet it should come up in couple of seconds).
  9. Now add these badushas and fry on slow flame until you get nice golden color.
  10. Then add these fried badushas into syrup and soak them for 6 – 8 min & remove them.
  11. Now yummy badusha is ready to serve & enjoy. serve them at room temperature.
